2 years ago, on a Friday night (maybe early Saturday morning), in a time before cabs took credit cards, I met a guy sitting on a bench at the Union Square station. A group of obnoxious teens made me put my headphones on in annoyance. He did the same. After a few minutes - without exchanging a word - he handed me his ipod, I handed him mine and we listened to each others headphones....
