I first heard this version of the song thanks to tumblr. I couldn’t get it out of my head so I decided to listen to it at work today. A co-worker walked in and said, “why are you listening to this?” Her tone definitely hinted at judgement. I thought it was kind of weird that she would care so much about the music I choose to listen to, but whatev… I continue to enjoy it. A little while later I remembered that she had been dating a guy named Matt who was a musician. Quickly realizing that it would be REALLY embarrassing if she caught listening to her ex-boyfriend’s music… I decided to look back through old emails to calm my worries, just to make sure it wasn’t same guy. But it was. Of course. I am SUCH a loser. hahahaha.
