Up until 10th grade, I attended public school in New Mexico. At the end of my freshman year, my family moved to El Paso, Texas and I started as a transfer student at an all-girls Catholic high school. On my first day of school, my mom wasn’t able to pick me up, so she asked my uncle to get me. After a horrible first day at a new school as the new girl, I exit the front doors, to find this. It’s funny, now.
